He already established various satellite festivals around the world. Santiago in Chile, Buenos Aires in Argentina, Sao Paulo in Brasil and Chicago/ US.

The Lollapalooza Festival 2015 attracted over 40.000 thousand people to the historic scenery. One speciality of the Lollapalooza Festival is the mix of genres.

40.000 visitors came to this year’s Lollapalooza Festival

It was formed in the height of the Alternative Rock wave in the early ’90s. Now it connects Rock with Electronic Music and Hip Hop.

The Lollapalooza Festival gained sad attention in 1994. Headliner Nirvana couldn’t play due to Kurt Cobain’s suicide.

With the decline of Alternative Rock, the festival suffered as well and stopped in 1998.

In 2003, Perry Farrell started a new trial and relocated the festival to Chicago, USA.

The music festival also branched out to South America. This year it’s in Europe for the first time.

“Berlin’s energy, vibrant art, fashion and music scenes are a mirror reflection of what Lollapalooza is all about and I cannot wait to share in this cultural exchange” Perry Farrell
